The saying goes like this…“Every new beginning is some beginning’s end”.
It’s been a wonderful ride. I’ve been so blessed to be a part of so many great new beginnings… new job in Makati, new life in Manila, new friends, new adventure and of course a new beginning as a wife.
So I ask what’s next? That is something you and I will go through together…
I got my first tattoo today.
My tattoo is roman numerals of my pap’s birthdate placed in my right shoulder. I have always been my dad’s right hand.
People have different reasons to have tattoos. For me, this tattoo is a permanent reminder of something that meant a lot and will mean something for life.
I can’t remember ever being skinny with a 24” waistline nor perfectly sculpted abs.
But now at the prime of my life, I feel I can do better. I’m self-conscious. Mom tells me I’m just big-boned. I’m just chubby. But everyone else is skinny. Everyone else is, except for me!
She says people with broad shoulders weigh more. I hate my broad shoulders and while all the other girls are wearing bikinis I’m still looking for confidence while wearing a hoodie and skinny jeans.
I’m going on a diet, gym… hope things will change.
